Our fishing tutor will firstly show you the art of casting. Your skills will then be put to the test with a competition to land the fly in the circular targets. Some of the longest casts have been over 97 metres, over 300 feet so keep practicing.
Fly-fishing is the oldest method of recreational angling and the first references to fly-fishing in Europe are found in the accounts of English writers of the 15th and 16th centuries, with the actual practice of the sport in Europe almost certainly predating these works by at least 200 years.
