Baked-Off with a twist! First get hands on gathering your ingredients from the Farm, including harvesting seasonal fruit, vegetables, collecting eggs from the hen houses and sausage making. Using these ingredients, teams are challenged to create a ‘Taste of the Farm’, a culinary masterpiece to delight the judges and fellow team mates.
The event begins with teams spending time on the farm gathering ingredients for the Baked-Off Challenge. A competitive element can be included into this session with teams navigating to the source of the chosen ingredient using a tablet with clues and a trail. Harvesting seasonal fruit, vegetables, collecting eggs from the hen houses, sausage making, and coffee bean roasting are just some of the morning exercises.
Then onto the Baked Off challenge. Using the ingredients harvested from the morning, teams are challenged to create a culinary masterpiece, a ‘Taste of the Farm’. Which team will be able to handle the pressure and impress the judges to win the ‘Farm Baked-Off Challenge’?
